Continuation of Part I

After our sumptuous lunch we all went back so that Ice can show her face in costume in the cosplayers holding area. As soon as we got there, Ice handed her CD which contains the BGM that would play when she is about to ramp, however the marshalls told us we were late already in submitting the BGM. It was suppose to be done earlier. Oh well, they provided the BGM so it ends well there also. Ice and her Jan (her human prop) went inside the holding area to prepare, while we, we look for a spot where we can see the stage despite the massive crowd. Luckily we were able to find a place where we can see and watch.

Before the cosplay ramp, we were welcomed by this:

That presentation was helluvah entertaining but it helluvah destroyed my braincells. Dear God!

The brainbreaking presentation ended and entered the group cosplay. The group cosplay was fucking awesome. I

really loved the presentation of Sigil with their group cosplay Valkryie Profile and I was cheering for Shivena and Lavi since they are part of that group and that Rider Wars group cosplay. Who could forget the X-Men group cosplay, Kia as Phoenix was awesome. She looks like Phoenix for real. I was betting that the Valkyrie Profile group will win and guess what they did! Congrats guys!

After the group cosplay, the singles competition went up. I saw a lot of entertaining skits by the cosplayers before Ice. But of course, being loyal fans and friends of Ice, as soon she came up on stage with her kuroku, we were screaming non-stop. I still my ears bled because Ingz’s screams was so loud. Anyway, Ice’s skit is pretty simple, she is doing some cool moves as Talim on stage and since her kuroku who is portraying the “wind” is not helping her at all, she killed her “wind” and then eventually, the “wind” came back for revenge, both the koroku and Ice did some capoiera moves on stage and eventually, Ice got defeated by her own “wind” and got dragged off stage. Nice skit guys. I loled at the end.

After her skit, we paid a visit to the Mech Cafe, well it was already close. Well it’s ok, we wanted to see some people in the Mech Cafe whom we know like Emile, Seika and JJ. They look tired when we saw them. I even shared the sake I mean the C2 Apple inside the bottle of

After visiting them, we got hold of Ice and the rest of the people and went out of the event. I just realized that I wasn’t able to buy cookies from Sweet G33ks.  I found out that Seedsop was able to buy because he asked someone to buy for him. I was still unlucky because Seedsop gobbled them all while I was busy ogling as cosplayers on stage. T^T

Let me mope in one corner now.

Soon enough, we were talking to friends outside the convention. We saw Denz and Apol too. We headed to CBTL on the 3rd floor to meet more friends. Once we got there, we rested and Ice and I decided to change because frankly the whole day was just effing tiring.

Also, we’re going to Batangas in an hour or so, so yeah it’s better if we change already. Once changed, we moved to Red Mango for yogurt. Since I didn’t get my cookies, I get my yogurt.

All in all Cosplay Mania was really fun despite the *gasp* crowd. There are so many activities happening at once. Maybe Cosplay Mania can be two days next time? Or maybe I’m wishing too hard.

We left Red Mango around what time? I dunno. All I know I was dead tired in the van we were riding on the way to Batangas. I think I was drooling at too.

PS: Ice didn’t win but it’s okay since Cosplay is supposed to be fun and we did it for fun! CONGRATULATIONS ICE, WE’RE STILL  PROUD OF YOU! NUDOL PARTY!!!
