Yesterday I want to face palm the whole frigging day well, actually I wanted to face palm the whole time I was in Ateneo trying to enroll, get my grades and register. Why? Well, wherever I go, it’s either I have to fall in line or wait for a long time. Now, the lines are like LONG and the waiting time is like 15 minutes MORE?

I got to Ateneo around 8 AM. As soon as I got there, I grabbed a a flier telling you the step by step procedure. The first step says, ONLINE ADVISEMENT OF SUBJECTS. I was like huh? WHAT? ONLINE WHAT? I already had my advisement way back October before Ondoy and far as I remember, I was given a piece of paper with the subjects I’m going to take for 2nd sem plus the Dean’s John Hancock’s. THAT’S ALL. It’s not even friggin’ computerized.

So up I go to the department office only to found out, that I lost my advisement slip and I have to re-do it all over again. Anyway, I had wait for good 15 minutes since there were others before me. As soon as I got into the Dean’s office, the first thing I asked, if I can enroll since I’m on probation and I haven’t seen my grades yet. She said yes and I was  jumping happy, happy inside.

From the advisement, I went down to the SS Conference Rooms 1&2. Should I say whoah people? ID’s were piled up and all. I have to wait really long, good thing I saw Pam and Khursten and I managed to talk to somebody there. The issue of online advisement also came up. Pam informed me it was a new thing and each department was suppose to implement it. Yeah right. All I got is a measly paper and no print out.

Not just that, when I met Pam and Khursten I already gave out my ID and what’s annoying, they were called first, what happened to my ID? Khursten then advised me to follow it up. I did. And what do you know, they just gave me a copy that says that my old school where I took up 30 units of Educ namely PWU has not yet forwarded my ORIGINAL documents over to them. Wtf is that? I had to ask help from Pam and Khursten about it and I was informed that it’s not my fault but my old school’s fault.

I bid goodbye to Pam and Khursten, ran to the registrar office to clarify whatever that is. Oh boy what do you know, the record didn’t have my official documents. I was already cursing my old school in my head. I asked if I can enroll and the kind Kuya told me yes I could since the deadline is January 15, 2010. So I went back to the conference room to get my reg form. I gave my ID again and said, I would like to enroll, so can I get my regform?

Geez, how hard it is to give my reg form and my grades anyway?!

So I got my reg form and I went to the Case Study room for checking. After that I went to another conference room in the 2nd floor for assessment. Gahd I had to wait for like 30 minutes or so. It was that long. As soon as I got my assessment, I went out to find out it was raining. /sigh  it felt like it was already 5 PM and I’m already starving. So I decided to eat lunch at KFC (Strawberry Banana made my mood a bit better) and withdrew the money for tuition fee, went back to Ateneo and the line in the cashier is long.

You can say I have to wait for an hour to pay for my tuition fee, then I have to validate my ID. After that I was able to g home feeling drained and tired. Seriously, Ateneo… seriously you’re undermanned and we’re like how many students????
