Letum ~ Eulogies of Life

Last Saturday, November 14, 2009 I had a wonderful time at Power Plant. Me, Seedsop and Vince attended a Dokissaten event at Sango Burger Master at Power Plant, Rockwell. The last time I experienced Dokissaten was last Shizen Orchestra. That’s like months ago. That is why when I heard that Dokissaten will be having an event in Sango Burger in Power Plant, I made sure I would be able to attend it see my favorite maid there Seika. She was the maid who served me and my friends last Shizen and we did enjoy Dokissaten last Shizen.

As soon we got there, we were greeted warmly by their Head Butler Emiru-sama. Seedsop and I decided to eat lunch first in Sango and not to avail the service of a maid or  butler since we are still waiting for a  friend to arrive. As we entered the cafe, we greeted friends and people we know who are also part of the cafe.

It’s my first time to eat in Sango and the food and the whole place reminds me of this burger resto in Singapore where my older sister took us for dinner. The food the delectable looking food they serve (not only in looks but also in taste) was similar to the food served in that certain burger resto in Singapore. The only thing that Sango lacks is a certain cute waiter *gets shot by an anvil gun*

While we were eating, we noticed that the restaurant has a two small shelves of mangas (Japanese comics) displayed. I am not sure if you can borrow them. Also, they have this LCD TV on the center that shows Japanese music videos. We spotted old music videos of Arashi, V6 and Namie Amuro. One of the butlers (you know who you are) even caught me dancing to Namie Amuro’s song when her music video Sexy Girl was shown. The embarrassment I tell you.

Besides watching and making funny comments on the music videos being shown. We were also observing the other costumers of Sango. Those who availed the service of Dokissaten were enjoying the company of their maids and butlers. Those who have cameras were taking pictures of them non-stop. Those who didn’t avail were looking on with amused expressions. I even saw a couple of people who entered Dokissaten without knowing whats going on were kinda shocked to see people in maid and butler outfits greeting them. It was kinda amusing and funny at the same time.

After eating our lunch, Seedsop and I decided to reserve for Seika at 3:30, since our friend will be arriving around 2:30 or 3PM.  I tell you, the waiting a bit agonizing since I’m pretty ecstatic to talk to Seika again lol.

And soon enough, Vince arrived. We only have to wait for around 15 to 20 minutes for 3:30. Exactly 3:30 Seika was already with us, talking and having fun. Vince ordered his salad, Seedsop ate again and I? I just got to drink hot milk tea again (I ordered hot milk tea for lunch).

All in all the time we spend there was worth it. It was Php. 120 per head and it was not bad. The food was great and ther service was awesome. Actually the Dokissaten crew were awesome and personally, I hope I would be able to attend another event of theirs. So until next time :D

PS: Glad to see guise again: Jer, Romeo, Gian, Cat and Touya~~

Had a delightful time there as well. Nothing like having nom nomful burgers served by charming butlers or maids. Though the downside to that visit was when I sinked my teeth on a hot Yakiniku Rice Burger. My fault anyway.

Nice meeting you there too. :)
