Hello there, here is part two of my favorite vampires. Again you won’t find Twilight vampires here. Sorry about that. If you would recall part I I have mentioned, Lestat, Selene, Akasha, Haji and Saya. Now I will feature the following vampires.

For this second part we have this beautiful vampiress named Mina Harker. Now this Mina Harker is the

Mina Harker from LXG

Mina Harker from the movie and graphic novel, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. She was portrayed by Peta Wilson. I love this version of Mina Harker. Why? Well she kicks-ass that’s why. She’s a seductress, a scientist, a doctor and well the only female in LXG.

In all the reincarnations of Mina Harker, I like this one better. We all know who Mina Harker is, she was sired by Dracula in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. In the movie Dracula she recovered from the curse of being a vampire but in other media she didn’t.

Apparently in LXG she didn’t recovered from the curse and she is a vampire herself. She was very formidable, since she is immortal and could actually flew. She fights with blades and with a gun and in the movie she was shown fighting with her nails. Man that was awesome.

So if you’re gonna ask me, I like the Mina Harker in LXG rather than in the movie LXG. It seems like I’m a sucker for vampiress who kicks-ass more than male vampires.

Oh yeah, she is the only vampire in LXG and that makes her special.  Also, she was paired up with Stuart Towsend who portrayed Dorian Gray who was the Immortal in LXG. We all know that Dorian Gray was defeated by her and that just makes it more awesome thinking Stuart Townsend did portray Lestat. Ohohohohohoho.

Victoria Ash from Vampire the Masquerade

Let’s have another vampiress. On your left is Victoria Ash from White Wolf’s Vampire: The Masquerade RPG. She’s from the clan Torreador and I absolutely love her character.

She is into fashion, art and has a lot suitors at her beck and call. I never played the game but as I read and learn about her story, Victoria Ash became one of my most favorite vampire. Victoria was born in poverty somewhere in France, though she was born with three tremendous quality: Beauty, A singing voice, and the ability to seduce men.

You could say she was able to use those qualities to her advantage as a vampire. I’ve always imagined Victoria as a beautiful dark singer seducing men to their lovely death. Yup she’s a siren. A beautiful one.

Victoria was always described to change her looks. She could be blonde, a brunette, a red-head and changes her fashion every so often. She’s a true blood Torreador and uses her beauty as her main weapon. Besides that, she’s gifted with the discipline of Celerity. This grant her supernatural speed and reflexes. She’s no soldier but mortal men doesn’t stand against her.

Blade

Now, we have Blade from the movies Blade, Blade II and Blade: Trinity. He was portrayed by Wesley Snipes. Before you go harking at me that Blade is not a hottie listen to me first. Blade may not be the most handsome vampire there is but he is one of the most kick-ass vampire I’ve seen. Yes, he might be a halfling (a Dhampir) but he is stronger than Dracula. Well in the movies yes, he is. LOL

Anyway on a serious matter, Blade is actually cool. He is very tough and very fierce. He may not like what he is and is out there to get rid of the vampires but you can say, you cannot ignore that he is awesome. Because he’s a half-vampire, he is daywalker and can mingle with ordinary human beings.

Trust me, Blade and Selene could go together and can kick some serious ass. He is a complicated character. A vampire who kills vampire. He is like Saya who has to kill his own kind for the safety of the human beings. Well we do know that vampires are always portrayed as evil creatures, son of Judah and the part of the undead. So it’s now wonder characters like Blade are created to end their species.

Nevertheless, he cannot ignore the part that he is a vampire. He is a very tragic character and that’s part of being a vampire. Tragedy follows you everywhere. Especially if you fall in love. /sigh

D from Vampire Hunter D

Here is another vampire hunter in line with Blade and Saya. He is D from the animated movies Vampire Hunter D and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. He is very enigmatic and almost nobody knew his originin but he is like Blade, he is a Dhampir. Speculations says that he is the son of Dracula who bedded a woman named “Mina the Fair”. Rumors says that this Mina is actually Mina Harker. Well no one really knows. No one knows his real name too. He is only known as D.

I like D. Like all vampires, D exudes mystery and allure. Come on, he may look gloomy and all anti-social but he is very sexy and mysterious. Just ignore the fact that he host some kind of parasite in his left-hand. This parasite talks and could suck in massive amount of matter through a vacuum tunnel. This parasite Left-Hand is probably the only one besides D who knew about D’s past.

D’s sword is as long as the Japanese sword nodachi. He uses it to slay Vampires and other evil creatures. He also uses Left-Hand for its power of psychometry. He also rides a cybernetic horse. That horse is huge and scary looking. It adds to this intimidating and do-not-approach-me aura of D.

Gerard Butler as Dracula

Didn’t you know that Gerard Butler portrayed a vampire? Yes he did. That’s him on the left. That’s him before he was King Leonidas from 300. Gerard Butler was Dracula from the movie Dracula 2000.

I was really surprised when I found out. I was not able to recognize him. I got used to his Leonidas look so when I saw him in Dracula 2000, I was like, “That’s Gerard Butler no way!!”

He was all pale and pasty looking and well huba-huba very sexy? Well he has less abs. I don’t know, the Gerard Butler now looks so rough unlike his vampire counterpart who looked so sexy and oh-so-yummy. He portrayed Dracula really well in my opinion and I wished to see him more in Vampire roles. He fits the bill.

There are so many reincarnations of Dracula, and this reincarnation made me, oh yummy. Lol if all reincarnations of Dracula would be as hot as Gerard Butler  here, I don’t mind being sired by him. Seriously.

Well he is very seductive here and man the bed scenes ohohohoho. It was hot.

Danica Talos of Blade: Trinity

Now for the last vampire. It’s a woman. She might not look familiar to you but if you have seen Blade: Trinity then you have seen her. She is Danica Talos portrayed by Parker Posey. She is only a supporting character and a villain too. One of the henchmen Dracula and serves like a right-hand man/woman for him. She’s a live bitch and you don’t wanna mess with her vampire or human. If my memory is correct, she was already a vampire when they woke up Dracula.

For a supporting character, Danica Talos rocks! She was very striking and once you’ve seen her you won’t forget her and how Parker Posey portrayed her. She was sexy, bitchy and has this flair of seductiveness in her. She kicks-ass too. Among their group, she is probably the only one who can confront Dracula even if the guy is angry. Lol the power of vampiress. I say she has some serious guts.

I have to bow down to Parker Posey’s beauty. She looks ethereal as a vampire and man how I love how she brought herself up as Danica Talos. She was really good in portraying a bitchy and sexy vampiress. If there is someone I would want to act out Victoria Ash that would be Parker Posey. No less.
