I just read a blog entry of a dear friend of mine and I am quite envious that she had a good well for me what I can call a perfect date. I longed to have a date like that, with my three previous ex boyfriends….. I can say I never had my dream date with them. Sorry, I might sound brutal with my words but come on Mister first ex, we seldom meet, period. Second ex, you spend more time with DOTA than me, I remember walking out on you on OUR date because you were engrossed in playing DOTA you actually forgot you have a GF and we’re on a DATE! Mister 3rd ex, well you are in the US and if ever you are here maybe you’re the first guy I would have my perfect date with. However, I had to break up with you.

Yes, you got that right. I never had a perfect date with a guy I like or I fell in love with. So dear boys, let me tell you this….

When going on a date with me: Please remember that you don’t need to spend lots of money on me. I don’t like the idea of fine dining. For crying out loud, it craps my style. I don’t like the idea of you paying for everything. Okay fine, you pay for our lunch/dinner whatever but give me the leisure to pay for something, like the movie we are gonna watch or the coffee we are gonna drink.

CONVERSATION is very important. You don’t need to be political and geeky to impress me. Just be yourself, add some humor and try to get to know me because I would do the same. However, if you are gonna just talk about yourself and how great you are, expect me to hang onto my seat because I hate people bragging to me.

Also, buying me expensive gifts all the time is not gonna express me boy. Yes, expensive gifts are flattering but it doesn’t mean I will fall in love with you. Nuh-uh. You can never buy my affection. It’s an instant turn off if you do. Also, I hate it when guys assume too much. Assuming guys are plainly annoying and I would love to kick you in the balls if you assume too much.

So I guess you get the idea of my perfect date. I don’t have to  reiterate it further, so dear boys now you know this, do it right please.
